Want the unit primarily for the car, but may ocassionally be used in a boat with Bluechart or in an aircraft using Canada Topo.
1) I know you can enter Lat/Lon to navigate to, but can you save them as
a waypoint from the unit for use in a route?
2) Can you use a multi-point route in "off-road" navigation mode?
3) In off-road, does it indicate anywhere on the screen distance to next or final?
4) I assume in off-road mode it will give you an overhead with a track line?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Want to make sure this is the unit that I want.....Ray

Will try to help you with some answers Ray.
1. Yes.
2. Not sure, but this model is meant more for on-road than it is off-road. I'd suggest that you pose the question to Garmin @ www.garmin.com
3. Again, this model is meant more for on-road than off-road. This model does have a trip calculator, and should show you the info you're looking for.
4. Yes.
This model is not suitable for aviation, and even using topo maps, I've be very careful using it for that purpose.
Again, try Garmin (via e-mail questions), as they are very helpful.
Cheers........... Joel
